"The universe is a big place, perhaps the biggest." Kurt Vonnegut
For me, to be a designer is a lot like being a sponge. With each new project you have the opportunity to absorb a whole new set of knowledge. You research and explore topics you previously knew nothing about to find new solutions. At the end you are a tired, dirty sponge but you get rinsed and you are fresh to start again. This kind of constant transformation and idea of play is what draws me to design. For me, there is no greater reward than acting as both an idea-making machine but also as a facilitator for my peers in their creative endeavours. The only part I don’t like is that weird, bacteria-charged sponge smell.
